After a day out, what could be better than arriving to a warm welcome?
We have selected accommodation for our cycling and hiking tours in Ireland based on their convenient location, facilities, character and comfort.
You will usually arrive at your accommodation in the afternoon giving you plenty of time for a refreshing shower and a visit to the local village, or maybe you would prefer to just unwind and relax.
Our reservations team visits hotels and B&Bs regularly to ensure the quality of the service provided to our clients is top-class. Please don’t hesitate to request information about the hotels and guesthouses.
Depending on the location, it can happen that on certain stages the accommodation (particularly in very rural areas), whilst always clean and friendly, will be more basic. Bigger towns and cities will have more choice, so ask the team if you’d like to treat yourself and book an upgrade.
No experience is complete without good food! We always recommend you try regional products and traditional dishes. Our trips include breakfast as standard.
Breakfast
All our accommodation serve full Irish Breakfasts which consist of bacon, sausages, eggs and tomatoes along with breads, preserves, cereals, yogurts and fruit. This kind of breakfast will keep you going for most part of the day.
Lunch
We recommend you pack snacks, plenty of water and sandwiches for your day’s walk; although in some routes you will pass bars, restaurants and shops with deli counters. Check your walking notes/guidebook the day before for specific information about your walking day so you can plan the day in advance. Some of the properties can prepare a picnic lunch for you, made of sandwich, fruit, chocolate or cereal bars. Ask the team for advice for specific routes.
Dinner
Dinners are generally not included in our standard packages as we recommend you explore the local town or village (check with our team).
We also cater for special dietary requirements such as: Vegetarian, Vegan, Coeliac /Wheat free, Nut Allergy, Diabetic… Please ask our travel team before booking.
Comfort is our priority. After a hard day exploring we feel you deserve only the very best welcome. We endeavour to seek out cosy accommodation packed with character.
